Welcome to the Evangelical Lutheran St. Markus congregation! Founded over 60 years ago by German-speaking immigrants, we are an open and diverse Christian community. Our doors are open to everyone who seeks God's closeness and fellowship with other Christians.

We are a member of the ELCIC - the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. Our congregation is a place of encounter, exchange, and mutual support. Our members come from various parts of the world and speak many dialects and speech melodies. A former Swedish member once said: “In your church, I feel like I am at a nationwide German church convention because I can hear all the dialects and speech melodies.” That perfectly describes us!

Since the demand for church work and pastoral care in German is high, we offer our services in both German and English. You have the choice!
