Traditionell steht der Dank für die Ernte im Mittelpunkt – und dazu Dank für alles, was gelungen ist. Das Erntedankfest erinnert daran: Was wirklich wichtig ist im Leben, können wir nur empfangen.
All good gifts come from the Lord God! On Thanksgiving, the church is festively decorated with fruits and vegetables, ears of corn and sunflowers. Traditionally, the focus is on gratitude for the harvest – and thanks for everything that has been successful. Thanksgiving reminds us that what is really important in life can only be received.
