Pastor Heubner
Pastor Heubner served St. Mark’s Maple Ridge for a short transitional period in 1981. Following the departure of Pastor Daniel Neumann, he stepped in to provide pastoral leadership for several months, guiding the young congregation through a sensitive stage of development.
His ministry focused on maintaining continuity in worship services and providing pastoral care until a permanent pastor could be found. During this time, he conducted regular services, Bible studies, and offered spiritual support to members.
At the suggestion of Pastor Erhard Schneider, contact was soon established with Pastor Johannes Rattel, who later became the first full-time pastor of Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge. While brief, Heubner’s service was important in ensuring stability for the congregation during a period of transition.
Details about his background or subsequent ministry remain unknown.
