Dear congregational members, dear guests and dear friends!

I would like to welcome you – all of you! I have been welcomed openly and warmly in this country, this city, this congregation with my partner Ingrid; and that is how I would like to meet you and you too: interested, listening, accompanying.

 

After stops in Germany, Switzerland and Italy, I am looking forward to new encounters and discussions with all congregational members and new interested parties – perhaps you will feel addressed by the inviting architecture of the church as a special experience of sound, word and silence as well as the people and possibilities. In addition to church services and visits in both German and English, I would like to have a networking effect and also reach out to those people who do not feel addressed by familiar church forms. I would like to give space to their needs and suggestions, regardless of age, regardless of proximity or distance to the church as an institution.

 

Perhaps you feel addressed and look forward to encounters in or outside the church. My partner and I got to know each other through music, through singing together and have experienced how people meet each other (and themselves) anew and find trust through cultural projects. I would like to share this experience – with as many people as possible, regardless of their origin or background – carried by God’s unifying spirit, which overcomes fears and makes the unexpected possible.
